Most classes at Junction Yoga are beginner friendly. If you are new to Yoga then our Gentle Yoga, Slow Flow and Yin Yoga classes are a good place to start. We recommend that you have some yoga experience for the Power Yoga classes. Find out more about the different yoga class styles.

We offer regular Beginners Yoga Workshops and Courses and these are great way to get started if you would prefer to learn yoga with other new yogis.

Do you want to try yoga? 
This 90 minute workshop with Tracy Jemmott will explore the foundations of the yoga practice and explain common postures and terminology.  This workshop is designed to allow you to be able to participate in any yoga class with an understanding of the practice.

Beginners Yoga – 6 Week Course

This six weeks journey will give students the essential skills, techniques and correct postural alignments necessary to develop a safe and inspiring yoga practice.

There’s a lot more to yoga than people realise, so building a foundation that has integrity will allow students to comfortably and confidently progress in their practice.

This course will allow you the opportunity to learn the tools to relieve stress and anxiety, the expertise to build flexibility and strength in your body – mind and the methodology to keep your body functioning in its full range of motion. This is an investment in your health and future.

It takes courage to learn something new, something that we may not be “good” at, rest assured that this course is offered in a relaxed and fun workshop setting. There will be plenty of time to ask questions and explore the best options to suit your body.

This course is ideal for those who:                        
* Have never done yoga before
* Have been practicing for a while and want to refine and enhance their practice
* If it’s been a while since you last practiced and want to refresh your knowledge
* If you have an injury and need to learn how to modify your practice to suit your body.    

We cap the number of students in the class so that everyone receives as much attention as possible from the teacher and so that students have an opportunity to connect, learn and grow together.

Claudia has been a dedicated student of yoga for over 20 years and teaching full-time for over 11 years. She is a highly qualified teacher with over 750 + hours of training and countless hours of teaching experience.
